Inclusive Design Grand Prix 2024

✨ Extremely happy and proud to have received on June 13, 2024, the special mention of the Grand Prix Inclusive Design 2024 – an award organized by Paris Good Fashion in partnership with eyes on talents and APF France handicap

The ceremony was held at the Institut Français de la Mode, and I had the incredible surprise of receiving 2nd prize out of 34 projects from 10 different countries... it's much more than an award... it's the recognition of work started 4 years ago around "adaptive wear" (theme of this 3rd edition) with aequidem, and above all, the recognition of what is due to EVERYONE, especially in fashion.

æquidem primarily targets young people and aims to create desirable, trendy, functional, innovative clothing through its clever cuts & openings, clothing that will break down barriers and enhance body image. It's much more than just another fashion brand; it's an impact brand that helps address the loss of autonomy caused by illness or accident, encourages social connection, makes one feel BEAUTIFUL, and thus promotes WELL-BEING.

I sincerely want to thank the jury for this recognition and for all their words of encouragement: Floriane de Saint Pierre, Isabelle Lefort, Morin Oluwole, Donald Schneider, Camille Hutin, Louise Linderoth (2022 winner), Astrid de Montessus, Xavier Romatet, Pascal Morand, Serge Widawski (represented by Farid Marouani).

I warmly thank everyone who contributed to this project in one way or another: mentoring, help, advice, encouragement, networking, and all those special moments shared together... my beloved family and friends, the IFM family, friends from the fashion world, hospital caregivers, patients, caregivers, and so many others.

A very special thought for two young girls who witnessed the birth of aequidem and who made me want to never give up, Juliette (La Fille au Ballon - Help Kids beat brain Cancer) and Rose, who from above continue to inspire me.

I congratulate Hanan Tantush, who received first prize with her magnificent project "Intotum" designed for people in wheelchairs 👏🫶

This award is an incredible opportunity to contribute my part, to be an agent of change in making fashion accessible to ALL.
